It is through prayer that the Kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force. Prayer is such a powerful strategy afforded to us that we must never neglect it. Time spent with God should follow the example of Christ who would often convey Himself away and pray all night. It matters not the amount of time more than the importance placed on the necessity of being alone with our Heavenly Father. Praying for shorter amounts of time should stem from lengthier times spent before God.
